The Sanctuary’s Unique Section now has a functioning link for the "Hurting”. This section is a curated experience that includes a second consent gate and features poems created for those that have experienced severe, traumatic experiences such as rape, abuse, incest, hate crimes, etc. to assist in processing those wounds. Further, for someone that hasn’t experienced them, to gain further understanding of those emotions.
Updated to v2.3: added disclosure that Buttondown (our newsletter provider) records signup IP addresses for spam prevention. I do not export or use this data (and have requested that dashboard visibility be removed).

This includes recently discovered typos throughout the site.
When testing the uptime service StatusPulse.AI, I requested for them to create an option to disable the subscribe ability to be notified of any monitoring changes. (The reason being, is that I see the email addresses of subscribers within their portal.). The company added that ability / obliged on one of their recent updates. So, that’s a customer focused service that deserves a little shout out: “Thank you, StatusPulse.AI team. Your assistance in helping this site stay privacy focused isn’t unnoticed."
The Sanctuary’s Unique Section now has a functioning link for “Series”, which includes my poems that have multiple parts. For its grand revealing, the Ghost Children Trilogy is included. Enjoy.
This includes some visual consistency, as well as a notice message (reminding viewers to check their spam folder) when signing up for the Echoes Newsletter.
This includes applying the dark filter—the “sunscreen” (on the Emotion pages)—to the poem pages as well. Though the poem pages have a painting for a backdrop, the brief time frame that the emotion’s color is displayed, shouldn’t be so bright or distracting now.
This update focused on the visual aspects and atmospheric elements of the website. It gives it, its own, unique personality! I’ve wanted to share this version for a while now, but wanted the security foundation laid first.
The primary “hub” of everything is now officially called Sanctuary where you can access the Emotional Selector (the page’s prior name), along with the Abyss and the other unique sections like the Narratives and Reflections. The Sanctuary comes with its own music and having learned some neat tricks from the prior Security update, the music will fade out when entering a new area and start playing again when you return to it. This creates a beautiful and fully atmospheric environment now.
Somatic refers to the part of the nervous system that can take can control (known as a Somatic Response) and cause an involuntary motion or movement (such as a Trauma Response) that the body reacts to. Shards—like broken glass—are pieces of a whole. You are a unique and a one of kind; all your joys and sorrows and fears and hurts from the past make up the whole you.
The love you feel or have ever felt and hurt you have carried are simply pieces of a beautiful puzzle, I renamed the Emotional Selector to Somatic Shards, because it aligns with this concept. The emotions we experience as humans, are just a small part of the entirety of the human condition.
Every emotion is assigned a relatable pattern of glass shards, and going to an Emotion Page now, shows you the Somatic Shard’s symbol—further signifying the part of the site you are on.
This site's viewers are protected by its extensive Privacy Policy and in using it, agree to its Terms of Service. However, I use other platforms for their services, such as ForthWall for their ability to accept various payment processes for donations and Buttondown for their Newsletter service. When the viewer clicks a navigation bar link that will take them out of the GhostAgent site and into the other service’s platform, a Portal page will appear, briefly informing the viewer that they are crossing the threshold into another site and that site utilizes its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. (It’s still part of the GhostAgent universe, just a different fief that has its own laws.)
The prior headers were flat placeholders. Now, each page features its own unique title, welcoming you to the contents it holds.
This page has been visually updated as well to flow better and now includes resources specifically for Veterans and addictions.
This page has been visually updated as well to flow better and now includes protection “shields” detailing DreamShield and BunnyShield’s site protections.
The site’s navigational menu is now atmospherically labeled. For example, the Contact Page has become the “Conduit”, and the Donation Page has become the “Altar”. For the most important pages, such as Caring Resources and the various legal and security pages (located under the copyright notice), names have stayed the same—no changes.
The above is somewhat controversial as it removes easily identifiable labels which button leads you to the page you’re looking for. Some will like the atmospheric enhancement, while others won’t. That is understandable. For those that don’t, I’ve added a (Site) Key that will appear after a short time hovering over the nav menu. It isn’t instant so as to not interfere for those that are familiar with the site, but isn’t so long as to annoy those that aren’t.
The Shrine now includes the track listings for the Sanctuary.
Updated to v1.3: clarified section 5.1 better and linked to FourthWall’s Shop Terms of Service

This includes adding a notice on the landing page that this site does not use cookies or practice profiling. I felt that might be refreshing from the usual “consent to cookies or reject all” notices everyone is flooded with.
This update focused on security upgrades and enhancements to further protect the site as well as its viewers. It’s a digital fortress now, complete with moats and magical forcefields!
The site is now cached on “Edge” servers worldwide and the various countries and regions will have access to a server closer to them, than the EU server that I recently migrated to. So, if you are in Australia now, you are not forced to connect to a server hosted in Europe, but rather the nearest Edge node near you, so the site loads even faster (while maintaining hosting in the EU).
As with the other services I chose, I went with Bunny because of their stance on privacy. This CDN is functional and running with logs disabled. Logs are enabled however when their security suite (BunnyShield—see below) is triggered and the company Bunny.net is based in and has its servers hosted in the EU which practices stricter privacy policies regarding data.
BunnyShield is Bunny.net’s security suite which includes a WAF (Web Application Firewall), and includes other protocols and applications to mitigate abuse, such as DDOS protection, rate limiting and assists in reducing malicious bots from crawling the site. The “shield” is on and running and leaves normal usage alone. However, trying anything nefarious, such as bringing down the site will trigger the Shield which in turn kicks in, defends what is needed and in this case, will log an IP address.
The site and its viewers are further protected by daily malware scans. If any file / page from the site (though the odds are very low), were to be found tainted, they’ll be promptly isolated.
The site is now monitored for uptime and any potential offline issues. StatusPulse.AI also has account servers in the EU, and this site’s account is hosted there.
This page is a transparent report into (part) of the security implemented into the site. It comes with live badges (which run through a proxy on the site’s server, so visitor IP addresses are not shared with the 3rd parties. It also gives direct 3rd party audit links, showing the site’s security score. You don’t have to my word for anything—you can verify it yourself.
This is an enhancement of the Content Consent mechanism on the Consent page. Now, the site sits behind the Content Gatekeeper (which is the name I’m giving it—because it sounds cool), and in order to view those pages, consent must be given or the site will direct you back to the consent page. (It blocks people from skipping the consent page and link.). This is all maintained and functioning without using any cookies or trackers.
Various headers have been "installed" which restrict deceptive embedding/framing and other forms of misdirection. Further, they help to protect any viewer’s “proof” of coming from here. For example, if you are at “www.google.com” and go to “www.microsoft.com”, then Microsoft can see in their logs that you came from “www.google.com”. This site now hides that that you came from GhostAgent.net. The fact you were here, is hidden.
This might not be a big deal for some, but others will appreciate their whereabouts being cloaked. Further, DNSSEC cryptographically signs the site's DNS records—the internet's signposts—so the “directions" to this site are verified as genuine, preventing malicious redirection before you ever arrive.
Updated to v2.2: this revision reflects the additions of Bunny.net's CDN and BunnyShield services, and the Consent Gatekeeper’s details along with the site’s navigational effects, as well as clarifying some language.

Narratives, Series, and Poetic Reflections now have their own direct links from the Emotional Selector page—this brings those poems closer to the surface for easier access.
Updated URL structure across the site for better organization. Poem page browser-titles now display the actual poem name, so bookmarked pages are easier to find later.
Worked on some behind-the-scenes items to lay the groundwork for upcoming updates
This site was successfully migrated over to DreamHost’s EU servers! This change aligns with GDPR data residency principles and strengthens visitor privacy protections.
This has been in the works for a while now. Moving over to EU servers aligns with this site’s focus on providing a protected and secure place for its viewers.
Added a version number to the policy and updated to reflect that the site is now hosted in the EU.
